We Have Walls
The crew came back on Friday,May 20, removed the forms and painted that black substance on the "below the dirt" portion of lower walls to keep moisture out. The house is in the background, garage is in foreground of this picture.
Isn't it fun to watch your house being built? We got to watch our first home being constructed when we were living in California. It was a cookie cutter tract home, but we were very excited to see its progress over time. BTW, yours is coming together MUCH faster than our tract home did! So happy for you! Lynda
Oh my! And here I have been thinking ours is moving along at a snail's pace. :D I keep wondering why the crews aren't here at the break of day and why they take Saturdays off????? LOL!!!! :D
Our wall inspection went well today - another yellow sticker on the building permit. Plumbing should begin tomorrow which is where Doug begins his job as he is the plumber. Our contractor is also using his own plumber since he is the one with the MI plumber's license and he is the one who knows the state and local plumbing codes.
