I had to start a new plant out front by the veggie garden because the two I had out back near the chickens were pecked down to NOTHING!!! Can't understand why the eat the stuff, but oh well. Anyway, the plant I have here is called Arp Rosemary and it is supposed to take cold to zone 6. Although I am sure you are probably much colder than that! This winter was brutal for us, as we had lots of snow and many frozen nights down to nearly 0 deg. They survived!
Lynda
PS: I brought several plants from my herb garden in CA with me when I moved, most didn't make it, but a few survived.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-692301977680880476.post-78019680628390914842011-07-11T00:08:53.071-07:002011-07-11T00:08:53.071-07:00Hi Lindy

I love your blog and will be spending some time there but perhaps not so much this summer. The house is moving along rapidly and there is much that I must be involved in. Then there is the food - fresh, local - which I am planning to process and store for the winter. I am planning lots of fruit for the freezer, some dehydrated, but probably no canning this summer. It is just too hot in the trailer to even turn a burner on for a few minutes let alone for canning.Lindyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05315980350142729265noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-692301977680880476.post-80077272213501881692011-06-06T09:35:24.455-07:002011-06-06T09:35:24.455-07:00They are a very good report on my straw bales (the...They are a very good report on my straw bales (they aren't growing in the compost itself). :D However, things are really heating up so perhaps the compost will begin cooking in ernest.
